Gifts in Kind

Baptist Foundation treats gifts in kind like other donations. They can be directed to a specific group, or be designated for the greatest need. Many local businesses and individuals throughout our community support Baptist Foundation through gifts in kind for the Art of Caring auction, our Priceless Wishes Program that provides lasting memories for our hospice patients and their families, and our holiday campaign for the homeless — Baptist Tree of Faith, Hope and Love.

Basic necessities can make a major difference

Not all donations to Baptist Foundation are monetary. Gifts in kind are warmly received and serve a great purpose. Such gifts as clothes, books, toys, diapers, baby formula, personal items or even event tickets provide comfort, convenience and happiness to our patients and employees in need.

We use in-kind donations, such as books, stuffed toys, games and art supplies at our Camp Good Grief for grieving children and their families.

Our annual Art of Caring event accepts items for auction, such as jewelry, gift cards, paintings, sculptures and other collectibles, to benefit Baptist Centers for Good Grief and Baptist Reynolds Hospice House.

The Priceless Wishes Program often uses in-kind gifts for our hospice patients, allowing them to attend a family event, take an art class, or even go fishing one more time.

Winter coats, gloves and hats donated to our annual Tree of Faith, Hope and Love campaign provides warm winter clothing to the homeless in our communities.
